Our Mission:
The RTP Product Development Guild is a private organization of consultants who share a common interest in promoting technological product innovation in the RTP regional economy. The members of the Guild provide entrepreneurs, inventors or small engineering companies independent consulting advice and guidance on product innovation and technology.
Our Strategy:
The initial consulting advice takes place under a structured format that applies to all projects for approximately 6 months. The professional advisors who sit on six member project teams agree not to charge a fee during the first 6 months of consulting services.
After the first six months, members of the Guild may be retained by the project candidate for a fee, however, the members of the Guild agree to perform additional tasks at a reduced fee, under a payment format that includes both fee-for-service, and equity options in-lieu of fees.

No Obligation:
The project candidate is under no obligation to retain any member of the project team for any consulting services after the six months of team advice. The decision to retain any member of the Guild for additional consulting help or advice is solely in the discretion of the project candidate. |
